Real Estate Law

Description

Real Estate Law

Have you sold or purchased a home with undisclosed defects? Edison & Edison’s experienced attorneys can represent your interests in cases like this.

The Florida Supreme Court in Johnson v. Davis, 480 So.2d 625 (Fla. 1986), stated that through the sale of residential real property, the Seller must disclose latent defects if they possess knowledge of conditions materially affecting the value of the property of which are not readily observable or already known to the buyer. This applies even when there is an “as is” contract.

We can also represent you in real estate related issues when something goes wrong with the closing, money is held in escrow because of undisclosed liens on the property, or during foreclosure proceedings.
