The ART of Caking can safely accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions! And yes, everything still takes incredible - but you don’t have to take our word for it, because our clients always rave about their allergen-safe treats! (See what they’re saying on our wesbite)

All of our desserts are made to order. (Unlike many other bakeries, nothing we make is ever frozen.  It’s all made fresh within 72 hours of your event!)

We use quality, fresh ingredients and focus on locally sourced whenever possible.  We love Spooner Berry Farms!


Get familiar with our process…

  1. Determine how many people you’ll be feeding so you can decide on the size of your cake order. We recommend adding an extra 5 to 10 servings to your estimated group… we’ve never heard of anyone being upset with leftovers and we’d hate for someone to not get a piece (because we know they’ll be missing out!)
  2. The sky is the limit when it comes to flavor! Look through our expansive selection of cake flavors, fillings, and finishing options to choose your perfect combo. If you have an idea of something you’d like to try that’s not listed, feel free to reach out! We’re always open to exploring new ideas and pride ourselves in exceptional flavor, every time.
  3. Fill out our order form with all the details of your occasion. Because we’re in high demand, we recommend ordering at least a few weeks prior to your event (if possible). When describing your dream order, please give us as much detail as possible so we can bring your vision to life!
  4. To secure your order on our calendar, you’ll finish by completing a retainer payment. This ensures we have the necessary fresh ingredients ready to go when it comes time to assemble your order! the remaining payment will be due 1 week prior to the event on standard orders and 2 weeks prior for larger orders (such as weddings). Orders that are not paid for by the due date will forfeit their order and will not receive a refund of their retainer. (We encourage all of our clients to set a calendar reminder for *** week prior to your event to make sure your order is paid for on time).

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of orders cancellations must be made within 24 hours for a refund of the
retainer to be considered. Orders cancelled after 24 hours will not be entitled to any portion of
their retainer refunded.
Defective Products:
Customers may be eligible for a refund (full or partial) or replacement if the product is damaged or
not as described. Notification of defective item must be made within 24 hours of taking possession
of the order. Defects must be made in error by The A.R.T. of Caking.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

  1. What happens if I forget to pay the invoice for my order?
    One reminder email will be sent to notify you of your unpaid invoice. If the invoice remains unpaid for 24 hours your order will be canceled and no refund of the retainer will be made. If there are extenuating circumstances I am happy to discuss moving your retainer payment to an order at a later date.
  2. What if I forget to pick up my order or am late to meet up?
    I understand life happens. I will do my best to accommodate you in the event something comes up. I will hold your order for at least 24 hours and do my best to contact you to complete the delivery. However, due to space and freshness, unclaimed orders may no longer be available after 24 hours. Refunds will not be accommodated for failure to pick up your order on time or being unavailable to accept delivery.
  3. In the case of an unexpected complication, what happens to my order?
    Businesses are people too, and as mentioned above I get that life happens. In the event life happens for me and I am unable to deliver the product agreed upon I will do my best to find a solution that works for the both of us, depending on the issue at hand, including but not limited to:
    • an alternative product or service if the original order cannot be fulfilled as planned.
    • If the complication affects the timing of your order, I will provide a new estimated delivery or completion date.
    • If the problem is with the product itself, I can offer to remake/replace it or to make up for the inconvenience I can offer a discount on your current/future order.
    • In some cases, if the complication is too significant and cannot be resolved, I might have to cancel your order. This is a last resort and in the event this happens, you will be entitled to a full refund of any payments you have made. If I have to cancel your order within 72 hours of the agreed upon pick up OR delivery date an additional refund in the amount of 10% of your order total will be provided to compensate you for the inconvenience.
