30 minute Tutoring Session

Payment Private Pay- Session fees are to be paid at the beginning of the session. Forms of payment include cash (preferred), Zelle, Cash App ($MikaylaL), and Venmo(@KaylaL17). The session fee is ___________. Step Up Scholarship- Parents must initiate all service orders for the week on the portal prior to the first session for the week. The tutor will complete the invoice by the end of the week. Cancellation Cancellations are to be done at least 12 hours in advance. 3 or more cancellations may result in the contract being terminated. Failure to cancel at least 12 hours in advance will result in a fee of half of the session price which is to be paid prior to the next session. Rescheduling If a holiday is to fall on a tutoring day, parents will be given the option to reschedule for another day (if available), keep their regular session (if available), or cancel at no charge. These changes will be made at least a week prior to the holiday. If you need to reschedule due to timing conflict, please do so at least 12 hours prior to the session. Rescheduling may be available depending upon the availability of the tutor. School days out may result in canceling sessions at no charge to the parent. Depending on the availability of the tutor, tutoring may continue and will be discussed at least one week in advance. Early Termination If parents would like to end services prior to the end date above, the parent will need to provide a 2-week notice to avoid additional fees. If ending services without a 2-week notice, parents are responsible for paying a fee of 1.5 times the session fee ($___) prior to the start of the final session. The tutor may terminate the contract prior to the end date above due to constant misbehavior during sessions, misconduct of parents, late pickup, or failure to make payments. Punctuality Please be on time as other sessions may be scheduled for immediately following your session. Due to scheduling, your child’s session may not be able to be extended if he/she is late. Full payment is still required to be made at the beginning of the session. If the parent is late picking up the student, after 5 minutes, the parent will be charged $10 which is to be paid at pickup. Failure to pay the late fee will result in termination of this contract. Being more than 20 minutes late may result in the termination of this contract at the tutor’s discretion. 3 or more late pickups may result in the termination of this contract. Health If your child is sick (fever, excessive coughing, vomiting, etc.), please notify the tutor so that the session can be rescheduled (based on availability) or canceled. Please provide at least 12 hours’ notice and no later than 2 hours prior to the session to avoid being charged a fee of half of the session price. Supplies The tutor will supply all materials needed (folder, notebook, pencils, etc.). If the parent has any special request for tutoring sessions (homework assistance, project assistance, test review, etc.) parents are to bring in necessary materials or notify the tutor at least 24 hours prior to the session so that arrangements may be made.
